Techna Fit brake hose kit #4500

Post by Capeasy »

I have read some posts with this hose up-grade kit, but wasn't real clear if it fits our OEM Calipers or the performance "SS" calipers?
Also there's a mention of replacing the oem brackets as well. Can't we just drill out or modify our brackets to support these new hoses? Or do we need to get the Centric or dorman brackets and drill them out?
Thanks

The kit will fit both caliper configurations - the difference is that the banjo bolt threads are different between OE PPV & SS (Brembo) calipers. New banjo bolts in both thread specs come in the kit.

It does not come with front brackets - you can modify yours or harvest from any front Zeta sedan hose set - from your own PPV, G8, or SS sedan....or buy new rubber hoses that come with brackets and cut off the hoses and use the brackets. Depends on how much corrosion there may be on your existing parts or used hoses you can find.
