Stopped by the shop and the tie rod ends off of the 2013 donor car are the same length as you have.

Well, thanks for checking.
IDK how I ended up with wrong AM parts, then wrong GM parts. Hopefully 3rd attempt will be right!!

Did the third attempt work?

I'm running into the same issue with replacing my outer tie rod ends.

just did tie rods on my car bought them from amazon

And was that stud long enough? The picture on Rock Auto doesn't make it look like it is.
