G8 Eibach Lowering Springs

Post by 12ppv »

Just installed these lowering springs and love how they look! Im a pretty agressive driver and was worried it would be too soft after reading that the H&R ones are stiffer, but these ride better than stock and are the perfect stiffness. Hard to tell in the pics but in person its obvious.

That looks like a very good ride height, even with the steelies.

I have coil overs waiting in the shop for time to install. Can't wait. I'm not digging the 'high water' look.

That stance looks about right.

i think they said 1.3" or something like that. Yeah I have some camaro ss wheels sitting here waiting to go on, just contemplating what color to powder coat them first while theyre still stripped of tires and sensors

I have SS wheels in the stash of mod parts, too. IF I use them, they'll be black powder-coated. I'd also add a black center cap and wheel nuts.

That 1.3" looks like just the right amount, IMHO.

What all is involved in the swap, or I guess I should ask what would be the standard labor cost or hours involved?
This isn't something I would want to attempt without a lift.

I wasn't even considering lowering my car, until I saw this. Inexpensive and it does look better. Hard to install?

Any issues with bottoming or rubbing?

Could you possibly do the fender height measurement for comparison to the other thread on using the OEM SS springs?
