Hoping I'm not having the same issue. Every so often mine will just click and then a few seconds later actually turn the car over. It has been that way for the past 6 months or so, maybe doing it 3-4 times in that period.
I was fortunate enough to get all of the service records from the PD when i bought the car. From what i can tell, it is still the original starter at 127000 miles. Guess the smart thing to do is to replace it before the car needs a ride home on a rollback also.

Finally got a response from a diff ppv group.
New starter came in from rock auto and went to put it on this morning before work......the clip that holds the signal wire on is busted....now I have to wait for a replacement.
JR mine did it once a week before and then it was fine up until she died.
