Cts-v converter compatibility
Cts-v converter compatibility
I've been looking for a ctsv convertor to stick in my 11 caprice. Found a super low mileage used one from a 2016. Will it interchange with the one in my caprice? Tired to look around online, but wasn't having alot of luck finding a definite answer.

OP of that thread is a user here as well, maybe he'll chime in.

Re: Cts-v converter compatibility
09-15 CTS-v AND 12-15 ZL1 tq converter is the one you need
the 16-newer CTS-V uses a 8spd auto and LT4
also GM is giving 50.00 off a new tq converter

Thanks for the info!
So, to clarify, the gm number I'd be looking for is 24242552?
I found the online GM parts wholesalers selling it for around $275.

What does that converter stall in a NA setup? What does it gain or are people tossing them in with a LSA?
