3.27 Diff inbound

I’ve purchased a used 3.27 rear carrier from a 2010 Camaro. Advertised as 10k miles and LSD. What kind of diff bushings are recommended? Also, assume I’ll need GM gear lube and modifier? Anything else, like axle seals? Thx

Any bushings other than stock should be fine. I have BMR's poly/delrin in mine and didn't notice any increased NVH, but my car is obnoxious to begin with. I didn't replace the axle seals in mine, but they don't leak, so I guess I got lucky. I figured that the diff. is easy enough to get out if they leaked. I think you'll need friction modifier, but check a Camaro owner's manual to be sure. You also may want to check out this thread:

Thanks! I was wondering about NVH with the BMR poly/Delrin mix.

Let me know how much play you have when you turn the pinion shaft. I’m concerned my 30k mile 3.27 needs a rebuild.

Dummy- Pop the cover and check backlash. It's the only way to know.
