Re: Trans cooling lines at trans leaking, o-ring? like the o

I'm familiar with that Ford plug. When I was in college, I worked in a parts house, and we'd always have customers come in with that piece while they were in the middle of their trans filter change wanting to know where that part went. =8-0

So, if the line set is one piece, and the seal is down in the transmission, I'm wondering if the gasket you have is the 'service part'? Or is there no way in hell that gasket is going on the car? I'm just wondering, as I've never been that deep into the transmission...... yet. ;)

Wrapped up the line replacement ...had to wait for rain to stop since the car in my garage was in a terrible fight with an angry mob and missing most of its glass now ...anyway the line are easy !! Like to mention that they do NOT used the fuel line style retention method its more like a E-clip or even closer to a GM window crank clip. The easiest way was use a pick tool to un-click and it falls off ....DON'T loose it !! The lines slip right off, have that catch pan close there is a little fluid hangin out . A 13mm nut holds the only clip on the lines and a 3/8 6 pt will get the block off the trans. Good news the lines DO include the gasket. lines slide out with ZERO wrestling or cursing.
