Found a nice surprise today. On the 14 PPV there is already a hole in the firewall for where the clutch fluid lines come through. Just some insulation showing through the hole. This is to the left of the brake booster.

Next question does the clutch pedal assembly mount to the firewall or the dash subframe? Or both? Gotta get my head under there and check things out.

I am just realizing that the only manual conversions have all been done on WM bodies correct?

So taking apart my 14PPV (WN body) I look at the pedal assembly plate and there appears to be a spot there for a clutch pedal. Was that a similar set up on the WM's?. ANyway I made a video showng my findings, can anyone who's done a 11-13 tell me are they similar? I will only have to cut a hole in the plastic of the pedal assembly not the metal firewall. Did the 11-13's have to cut holes through both?

Anyway vid:

Here is a picture of the firewall on a 14. Hole already there for clutch plumbing.

11-13 is a different setup. It has a removable metal plate that the pedals bolt to. They also have the parking brake pedal that needs to be removed. Once the pedal is removed you need to cut out the mounting bracket for the park brake pedal and the mounting holes are there for a 2012 Camaro pedal to bolt up and then you just need to drill out the holes for the clutch master through the firewall plate.

Did the test fit tonight and everything is a match. What you see is a 2015 SS pedal assembly in a 14 PPV firewall. Perfect match.

Can't find any listing of the individual parts on the SS assembly to see what you could need to convert an auto assembly to a manual.

Just to update this thread. Got with my local GM parts guy for the diagrams for the clutch pedals. Their system shows very little of the pedal components are available separately (just the blue box numbers) but the entire assembly is available for about $300. He also mentioned there were some VIN breaks in the catalog for different part numbers on the SS. Not sure what those differences would be.

This thread entices me sooo much. I wish the wiring was available on here though. Hopefully he can come back and drop info.
