Nice. Is there anything that needs to plug into the new parts from the car? No dash lights I assume? Is the 2016 different maybe?

nothing to plug into just keep your maf sensor, not sure about the 2014's do not have one but I assume it would be close enough.

Yes I capped off the vacuum hose.

I have no engine lights, and I have not seen any codes pop due to this mod.

I did this modification when I did JBA long tubes and full 2.5 exhaust with resonators/x-pipe/muffles, the only tuning I have is the rear o2 deletes since I forgot to weld in a wideband bung.

I have notice a pick up above 2500 rpm but I think the exhaust is the bigger factor.

I believe that the vacuum hose that is capped off is part of the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system. It is the "clean" connection side of the system.

I'm pretty sure Maurice is right. If the capped hose goes to the passenger side valve cover, it is definitely the clean or inlet side of the system. You really should connect that hose anywhere after the MAF but before the throttle body. With it capped, you have basically no air flow through the crankcase.

That hose does need to be plumbed and not blocked off. I used brass fitting from home depot and 3/8 hose. Posted a pic on FB ppv group, not sure how to add one here.

Yep! Here's mine. AEM intake tube to the factory air cleaner box. Notice the hose connected to the port on the left side of the tube there. I've since wrapped it with an insulation wrap from DEI.

Probably very little performance gain, but man does the car sound sweet at anything over 3/4 throttle!!
