The cold air intake in my other car is made up of PVC pipe, I am no stranger to HomeDepot performance products.

This is one of the best threads I’ve read and I’m so stoked I found this!

Me too! I can't wait to try it but I'm going to use one of the cheaper intakes on eBay so I don't get a cell for not connecting that hose. I haven't decided which is the best but after I decide I'll post up pictures.

Here's yet another option, available in 2 finishes: https://throtl.com/products/aem-08-09-p ... -21-8027dc
The vent hose included was barely long enough, so I bought a replacement at Autozone (see pic). TB adapter seam at 3 o'clock, MAF adapter seam around 7-8 o'clock.

Hey don’t take this the wrong way, but has there been any issues with melting on the elbow? That being said I bought the elbow on Amazon lol anything is worth a try for ten bucks.

Like so many, I've used the Roto-Fab on my Caprices and have nothing but good things to say. Early on in this thread someone said these only pull hot air in from the bay. That turns out not to be the case.

Hey got all my parts in to replicate the Vacuum intake lol looks good, almost factory looking except for the red and chrome hose clamps. Found some black hose clamps online and all black couplers gonna change it out soon but here’s the current look. Also ported the factory air box and ran weather stripping so it makes contact to only draw air through the factory tunnel and cold air from the fender well. All insulated from the engine heat.

Very nice. How do you find the sound? I got nothing from mine even though that is not the real reason.
