P0158 O2 Bank 2 troubleshooting

Post by 91C02920 »

Hey guys, the check engine light is on and I have code P0158 set. I changed the drivers side O2 after the cat and it is still there. Doesn't seem to be any leaks in the pipe, and the front O2 seems to report as it should. With the key on, engine on or off, O2 bank 2 reports 1.3v.

Would that be a ground in the harness somewhere? Is so, any place to check first?

If anyone has the wiring diagrams for it, that would be a great help.

Thanks all!

bank 1 sensor 1 , is the driver side before cat o2

bank 1 sensor 2 is after cat

bank 2 sensor 1 is the passenger side before ct o2

bank 2 sensor 2 is after cat

P0158 should be bank 2 sensor 2 , so pass side after cat o2 - https://www.obd-codes.com/p0158" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

the 1.3v reading is higher than their operating range

Thanks, seems I was looking at a G8 V6 diagram. :roll: The V6 has bank 2 on the drivers side for some reason. I'll swap them out tomorrow and hope that fixes it.
