cheap diy intake

I had most of these parts laying around besides the 135* elbow so figured why not.

heres what you would need.

4" 135* elbow
4" coupling
4x 3.75 coupling for the maf
4" 90 ( try to buy the 5 ply)
4" filter.
very short piece of 4" pipe to connect the filter to the elbow
about $75-90 in parts if you shop the prices on ebay and amazon. Also silicone intakes.com

optional Head shield ( diy made, not finished yet )

Very good. Similar to what I did except I kept the stock air box.
2011 Caprice PPV, former RCMP test vehicle, never put into service
