Otr cai or roto fab cai

Post by 79sevillecoupe »

Which of these 2 cold air intakes provides the best performance and induction noise? Anyone tried them both? Intake is the first mod on my wish list to be completed.

When I had my 2011, I used the Rotofab installation. It required some very slight modification to fit my 2011 (I purchased a G8 kit), but it was a very good fit overall. My problem was someone upfitted a siren speaker right in the middle of the place for the air intake box to go, and I notched the box to make it all fit. Plus one of two of the screw holes had to be made slightly larger to compensate for slight fitment differences.

OTR is proven to be the HP winner however the install and fit is no where as easy as the rotofab.

I bit the bullet and got the OTR intake. We'll see how the install goes. I'll post pics of the installation

Good decision. OTR sounds really good and can provide some hp gain.
