Has anybody tried putting the Pypes violator axle back G8 mufflers on a 2011 Caprice?

Yep, it'll sound exactly like the G8, but the tips won't clear the bumper.

I'm running SS Sedan mufflers with a G8 flange welded on to them on mine. They had an awesome sound as installed, but definitely mellowed out a good bit when I had the tips lengthened out to the bumper. I'm hoping the kooks headers and midpipes bring back some of the bass/volume they had before I lengthened the tips.

Lots of the guys with SS sedan are using a magnaflow x pipe resonator with the LT headers and then stock mufflers and claim its the best combo of sound/flow possible, I believe there is a 3" and 2.5" version made but I don't have the P/N in front of me.
