anyone change O2 sensors?

Post by xcidmigs »

I am getting my car tuned via email logging and was told that I may have a lazy driver side O2 sensor. Anyone changed theirs out yet and if so did you use anything other than Delco? Denso is listed as OEM also on rockauto.com and I found a G8 thread where the OP stated the ones he removed from his car as factory were stamped Denso?

I just did. It was a pain because mine was an upstream sensor. I just used an o2 sensor from amazon that was like $28. Lol the dealership wanted to change it for $200.

I replaced mine with the Denso one sold on amazon also. Was a major PIA required jacking car up and several extension. but apparently the tune issue was solved and no other probs after 1000+ miles
