So, I am seeing what people have used for Harmonic Balancer replacements, have not heard good things about the GM one not sure what people have done with the Dayco/Powerbond.

I am leaning towards the PBU1117SS10 since I have used similar 10% under drive w/o issue on LS and figured that will not be a problem with the big alternator on these cars.

I used the PB1117N as a replacement when I had the DOD deleted. Stock one was trash.

I can't comment on using an underdrive pulley as I never have used one on my LS cars.

Replaced my balancer with this one from summit: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-c2501. Pretty happy with it and no problems so far, the price point is nice for an sfi rated balancer.
