I finally get my PPV back and I was not disappointed. The bottom line came down to $4827.47, but that included a few new parts that A1 found I needed when they went in there. I want to personally thank A1 Radiator & Automotive Repair for the diligent work and very professional service. I have a few highlights from the work that was done below.

DYNO: (By Late Model Throttle)
RWHP: 361.39
Max Torque: 370.74

Camshaft Specs (Brian Tooley)
Custom Grind: 218/323 .600/.600 116LSA

DOD Delete (Texas Speed & Performance)
New Radiator (Old one was leaking)
Melling High Volume Oil Pump
Melling LS2 Timing Chain

361 at the wheels. That's healthy! Nice work.

Yes, I am happy! I talked with the guy who did the work and he suggested I go with long tube headers instead of shorties, which should add another 40RWHP, so I will be doing that before the start of summer 2019.

Yep. LS* engines really wake up to headers. If you don't want to mess with them, though, the factory manifolds will support some serious HP.

Thanks for posting the paperwork. It’s nice to know exactly whats going on with the repair/build and cost.

I am going to try to beat the dreaded DOD/AFM failure before it happens, but want to save the money first to pay cash for the upgrade and premptive fix. My 9C1 has 119,000 on it but is in very good shape cosmetically and mechanically (my shop who inspected it for me said the engine and tranny were in “pristine” shape). I have a Range Technology AFM disabler for now, just to maybe buy me some time. I know this is a gamble and I drive the car somewhat sparingly (4,000 miles since March 5th). This is hard though cause it’s SO fun to drive.
