Not yet. They think its the lifters as I told them it probably was. They tore into it yesterday but didn't have the heads off when I left at 6:00 pm. I'm stuck with a wimpala 4 banger till they get me up and running. I hope it's soon this thing is horribly slow.

Update.
They said it was a bent pushrod. They said they are going replace the pushrod and lifters. No explanation of how it could of happened. They called gm and they had no idea either. Hopefully tomorrow it will be finished

Huh. I've had a pushrod go through a rocker arm before (on a Dodge 318, it didn't like dropping into first gear at 60 MPH...) but I'm not sure at all what would cause that. In the words of the immortal TV show Laugh-In.... "Verrrrrrrrry interestinggggggg......"
