I have the Solo axle-back exhaust and the 4-cyl drone sounded like crap.
The device plugs into the diagnostic port so you don't have to get the ECU reprogrammed.
This is especially good if your car is still under warranty or you need to get the car inspected, just unplug it before you go in.
It works as advertised and puts a warm blue glow on the floor at night. LOL

Did you have the trans shudder before using this? -and if so, did it clear it up?

Seems range technology makes two devices. One puts it in 4 cyl mode 80% of the time and the other device deletes it for 8 cyl full time.

Apparently, the torque converter clutch regulator valve spring breaks and causes the torque converter slip drop to zero when it isn't supposed to, causing the shudder.
Fix is a new lower valve body.
Do you have that TSB #?

There was also a TSB to triple flush the trans fluid. Apparently the fluid was eating away the coating on the TC and causing particles to contaminate the fluid causing an imbalance.
