I have worked with Chris Henry for the engine and transmission tunes. He has experience with the G8's and the L77/PPV platforms. He is a forum member also.

Maurice

Yeah, he's here in FL and tons of G8 guys swear by him so I'm probably going to use him once I drop in my LSA.

The block and heads are back from the machine shop.
Now I just have to work through the pile of parts. The day I make it back to the Hood will be a good day!

Mostly back together.. waiting on longer pushrods.
Not much of a "looker' all the shiny new stuff is on the inside!

SWEET!
I gotta get some headers for mine.
There's a little dent on the flexpipe and they look a little rusty- that justifies buying new exhaust right??!!?

Of course! I cheated. That's the 310 we put in our 3rd Gen Firebird for autocross racing. Man, is it a pretty engine. Complete with really expensive (now) Pontiac valve covers.

I REALLY want a Kooks exhaust on the 9C1, and am saving up for it. Talk about nice pipes!

Got it running (finally)!
I ended up putting headers and a x.pipe on it. Still have to figure out the rest of the exhaust. Sounded good with just headers and the x-pipe. "And there's no drone at 1800 rpm "
Got a little coolant drip from the oil cooler fittting on the engine block.
getting close to a test drive

Any updated progress on your re-build Jack? Any update also on the tunes that you're considering going with? What led you to pursue the lunati that you went with.. sorry for all of the stupid ??? its just that I am sitting with a 60K miler and want to avoid a total tear down and am looking for some options of my own.

Thanks and keep us posted !
