Yes. It's what they come with. Must be a DexOS-compliant oil if you're still under any warranty. I'm running Mobile1, but just pretty much because it's the OEM oil for just about all GM gas engines from about 1995, or so.

I have yet to hit mileage at where I need to change oil, but as i'm under warranty Ill probably do Amsoil. Its good stuff and I've run it before for 5000-6000 miles with no issues. Of course I would check it every week or so to make sure it was clean to be on the safe side. Its pricey but seems to be a worthy investment.

Just make sure it's DexOS compliant if you care about your warranty. The AFM system is sensitive about DexOS oils. And IIRC, all DexOS approved oils are synthetics (and maybe I've seen a blend that was also approved, I can't recall). I just get the jugs on sale at Advance with their "oil change specials". All of the name brand synthetics they carry are DexOS approved.

Just look for the Green DexOS-1 label on the bottle when you buy the oil. Do not buy the blue label (DexOS-2) oil.

Hmm, with the other oils, the latest SFI rating replaced ALL others. So Dexos 2 doesn't replace Dexos 1?? That's nuts. But that's just me.
