I've got a few pics but nowhere to upload them. The hitch I got is part number 92196009 and it fits like a glove. Conveniently my car is a 2011 so I had the indented section to cut out for the hitch.
Fotki is who I use:

They've been pretty good to me for several years. You get a 30-day free trial, and they have accounts that start at about $1.50/mo. with several GB of storage available.

I have had ZERO luck in getting one of those 92196009 VE tow hitches but would love to see pics of one installed to see if it's worth continuing to pursue!!

I know I'm a little late to the party here but is there a consensus as to the easiest, best way to wire up a 4-flat tow harness? I don't mind splicing into the existing wiring but prefer a plug in setup if there is one.

Thanks,
Paul

I used an off the shelf harness with T-taps. If there was a plug & play I'd have bought it but I don't think it exists in this hemisphere.

Thanks James. BTW, I'm not real tech savvy and am wondering... this thread did not have any activity since last year (2019) yet you replied to my post pretty quick. How did my post pop up on your "radar screen"?

I replied to the thread or selected to be notified of responses to the thread. My default settings have me get an e-mail every time someone replied to a thread that I've commented in. I happen to be at my computer and saw the e-mail.

I posted this in another but thought maybe it woukd be of interest here as well.

Just to give an update on this topic - in May I ordered a towbar (rated for 2100kg/4700 lbs) from Holmart. To my door I paid $536 - something like 320 AUS for the towbar, $440 AUS for shipping, $25 AUS fee ~ .68 fx rate ~ $536. Took about a week to arrive.

Installed over this past weekend, slipped right in and clears the rear bumper easily.

Of course I didn't take any pictures of install - too excited to remember to do that.

Remove bumper. Remove foam bar and aluminum impact bar (4 bolts). Slide tow bar into the "frame" rails and attach with 4 new bolts. Use a razor to cut out the square marked in your bumper (since mine is a 2011). Reinstall bumper.

Tow bar came with the pin and clip, 2x clevis, and the anti rattle bolt. There was also a rubber/metal piece to clean up the cutout - but mine was destroyed in shipping (the box was in pretty rough shape).
