Antena and Sirius Radio Interface

Post by Twotonfun »

With the lack of a phono plug imput for my Sirus XM radio i thought that I would opt for the antenna inerface. Imagine my surprise to find that the anyenna has a square plug in instead of the traditional round.

Any one know of an adapter for the antenna or have a suggestion for using my satalite radio with the current radio?

Thanks in advance

Hmmmmm.... this sounds like a question for ZerOne or Tom Slick, our resident iQ experts. Don't think anyone's thought about having to insert something in the RF chain yet....

Maybe throw this over to our Stereo/Electronics section? Chris White might have some input also..

After online searches to no avail I found a source. Best Buy of all places. Tech used to do upfitting and knew what was required.

Two adapters,20minutes, $40.00 and $15.00 spiff later I was down the road with out commercials. I had the Sirius FM Interface already and it was about 20.00

Adapters were Mera AntennaWorks 40-EU10 and 40EU20. Antenna connection is behind the kickplate on the drivers side.

Cheers
