I finally had time to un-box the T53 kit and take pictures of it and the associated wiring. My car did not come with the kit, but when all is hooked up, it worked. I did not install the kit yet as I am waiting on installing a trunk lid liner.
The kit GM PN is 92251564. the lights are LED, one red, one blue.

The existing body harness male connector is installed under the package shelf, passenger side, under the rear window. I removed the connector from the push in clip by pushing it to the rear. There was the empty, matching female connector mated to it.

I temporarily connected the three, pre-terminated wires from the kit to the male connector from the body harness. But, no flashing lights. Found out that the blue, main auxiliary power harness connector, behind the passenger side trunk panel needs to be connected to provide power.

Big Greek, I acquired the Kit from the dealer, GM PN 92251564.

No Moa, I would maybe dig into the circuitry a little more. I am assuming the relay also doubles as a wig-wag flasher. The lights flash two or three times each, alternating.

Regards,

Maurice

And you know what's interesting is I have the lights still but nothing else. I replaced my lights to two ambers so I could still use them at car shows here in FL. I think the lights may have internal flashers built in on the motherboards...

I have a set of standard LED lights. I might hook them up just to see how my set up works.

Hmm, not cheap at $371 from GMPD, but I bet most of that is in the LED flashers.

That would explain why they removed them from mine. That's a lot for 2 lights.
