Welcome to the system! Do you have the seat that's all vinyl or the ones that have the cloth insert like the front seats have? I've seen both versions.....

If you have opportunity to find one, the best bang for the buck on the back seat is to do the G8GT seat conversion. You gain a pass through to the trunk for hauling longer items, an armrest with cup holders, and a fold down table. Good way to check is to see if anyone is parting G8's out in your area or look on http://www.car-part.com to see what you find within your region. I did a quick check and there is a yard in Conyers, GA that has at least two black G8 leather seat sets listed, both in "A" condition. Don't forget to get the latch set and all the hardware out of the donor car if you go this route. You'll specifically have to ask the salvage yard to get it as normally it'll get ignored, then you have to order from the dealer to make your seats work.

But, if you have to have the stock Caprice seat there are some out there. A few members have done the G8 seat conversion and might have a seat set sitting somewhere.....

Good luck!

Welcome to the board.

It's bad "Forum Etiquette" (aka Netiquette) to use all CAPS when typing on public forums. To most people, CAPS stands for yelling, which you certainly aren't trying to convey. But others may accidentally take it as such.

Here's the yard that has the G8 GT seats. Price is listed as "call". They are still active as of today. Car stock number is 10C388.

Mitchell's Used Auto Parts, USA-GA(Conyers) 1-800-682-9257 or 1-770-483-4716

Hope this helps. Good luck!
