Re: Looking for 9c3
Well, on Auto Trader Lima Auto Mall has a 2012 9C3 listed with 1120 miles up as certified, pre-owned for $24,599. Only drawback is that it's a V6....

Perfect opportunity to take the 420 HP 3.6 twin-turbo from a new CTS V-Sport and stuff it in there....

Re: Looking for 9c3
My 2013 Alto Grey PPV 6L is a 9C1(had 840 miles when I got it) with All cloth/vinyl insert seats and has carpet too. Only differences between it and a 9C3 is the console and it has a working spotlight installed on the drivers side. Novaduce swapped his full wheel covers for my "poverty caps". So it is very 9C3 like now. I am thinking about getting a Jotto Desk steel console for it with the lockable cubby, arm rests and cup holders...just hoping to get one for less than the $500+ they go for, unless I could find a console from a wrecked 9C3 or swap someone(doubtful). I am glad to have gotten it, I love the car. The 2014 PPV won't have the 9C3 package anymore, 9C1 options will be available for the 9C1s and I think all will be column shift now too along with the SS type dash.Solardude wrote:I got a black 2012 9c1 it has carpet floor and all cloth seats. Only 900 miles when I picked it up. I will take some pictures of it soon. It's still a little dirty from the drive home from Ohio

That's funny.
Who ordered a detective car with a spotlight?

Re: Looking for 9c3
Early 2011 car. They all came off the boat as 9C3's, every last single one of them. If you wanted to mark it you had to live with the center console and add a spotlight if you needed one for patrol. The 9C1's weren't available until the 2nd or 3rd shipment of cars.
That's based on info from Billy Regar, our GM LE Zone representative.
Thanks
Eric

Re: Looking for 9c3
That is really cheap, the car came from Holiday Chevrolet AKA Defender Supply in Aubry, TX. They ordered almost all their first run of 9C3 cars with a spotlight and the reason was already noted that is how the first ones came off the boat, 9C3 only. I actually looked at one of those when they offered their left over 2011 9C3 stock last year, but they were selling them for 24,995. I kind of wish I would have bought it since it is the 9C3 with real center console, but I got one for about $4000 less with 16k miles.smwalker wrote:A 9C3 popped up in TX: 23K miles

That is pretty cheap for only 24k miles and a 9C3, someone should buy that. Have to wonder what it sold for at auction or if they got it from the dealer on trade (mine was that way, sold to local car lot)). I did not even see it there when I passed by that car lot yesterday, so I will have to venture back there. The Caprice came from the Sterling County Sheriff here in Texas. That is a rural Texas county, so likely had light use in those short miles. You can always remove the spot light and have a nice 9C3. If that is still there in two weeks I may just buy it, would be cool to have two of them
EDIT: Title date on that Caprice is June 2013, so it still should have a good factory warranty on it.
This is one of the first lot of 9C3 off the boat from Defender Supply taken May 2011. It was a demo for a short time, but was sold as new later in life.

Re: Looking for 9c3
Who is the guy from Cali asking about the 9C3? Low ball the price on them. I was there looking at it and they would not deal over $300 trying to save some money on taxes.
Horn does not work, likely cut from removing equipment and I doubt they will know how to fix it. They scratched the rear bumper backing into the security gate pipe fence. Inside has some screw holes from equipment on the console, passenger side near the curve to the controls. Missing the console tray cover between the shifter and climate controls. But over all the inside is very clean and nothing bad like I have seen in used cop cars. The hub caps are all starting to chip paint and crappy GSA tires. The mirrors had holes in them from police lights, but I did not see any holes on the body. Maybe have been a admin car or detective of some sort as no lightbar was ever on it.
That Tap shift is freaking nice, loved the ability to down shift and just gun it. Allot of fun using the shifter to manually shift gears.
It is worth the asking price being a 9C3, but they would not budge on price when I was there asking.
