dead fuel pump module needed

Post by orgdnr »

I'm looking to modify the stock module to 370lph so guys on an ethanol mix can supply a blown application and not spend 2K. My ride is also my DD so taking it out of service is a pita.
With all the mods, I think it can be done for around $250 exchange. My LSA conversion will be the mule.

Any help appreciated

Dave,

Just a suggestion but if the G8 module will interchange you'd probably have a better chance in finding a deader or a low cost working unit. Most of what I've seen has been salvage yard inventory in that category.

From what I've read the g8 module is shorter than ours. If all else fails ill order a half dozen pumps from summit and return what doesn't work. There is a 370 lph pwm pump that looks promising. That combined with a BAP should support anything a stock bottom L77 can handle.

Our factory pump with a BAP can support up to 650+ whp. I would never recommend a BAP myself and from some reading i did they don't work very well on our setup anyway. I have a working factory pump module I'd sell for around $150. Only has 8500 miles on it. I upgraded my fuel system.

The fuelpump control module doesn't like anything north of 15.2 volts. lingenfelter has a 370lph pwm pump that should fit in our modules. Rwhp at 700 is around 800 Bhp but with near 110 hp parasitic load from the supercharge, the pump needs to support 900. I guess I just need to get this pig put together and on the dyno.
