Just want to add to the thread.
I used some 17 camaro calipers with stock ppv rotors. worked mint, i reused my oem brake line but swapping it wouldn't be a bad idea due to the angle of the stock fitting.

Re: Brembo front calipers using 345mm PPV rotors
so it looks like the 6th gen kit is the best bang for the buck for the front, what about the rear ? anything that mounts on the stock ppv rotors?

Re: Brembo front calipers using 345mm PPV rotors
its strange for me to see these fit, cause I tired using CTS sport bremobos with the stock PPV rotors and they DID not fit. The CTS sport also uses 345mm calipers, but the hub mounts must be different . The stock ppv rotor was actually to large for the CTS sport calipers Im surprised to see the 6thg...

Re: camaro Brembos installed
Went ahead and got the ebay hi-temp decals and set them on the brass powder basecoat and did gloss clear over top, baked 20 min and all came out great.... did you powder coat them without disassembling them and splitting them? that's that kept me from powder coating mine, was told they have to be s...

Re: DOD delete, converter, etc.... pull motor ?
Ended up leaving the converter and just did the heads. overall wasn't bad to do the heads in the car. I used arp bolts not studs for the heads. The LSA oil pump I used is actually the same part number as the OEM caprice pump, I just wanted a new pump at 90k. I also go the LSA chain . I also plugged...

Re: Twin Turbos
theres 2 companies that make nice kits for the ss and g8, one is next gen performance and I forget the other .
Kits are about 8k last I checked.
I opted for a LSA kit myself but the next gen kits look good

Re: PCV hose quick disconnects
I hate those fittings, my drivers side valve cover has a hose with a clamp now. Its a odd size cause 3/8 compression would not work, I was going to try one of my fuel line x8an fittings but ended up leaving the 3/8 hose and clamp.
