Paint codes and repair

I don't know if this has been covered, but I found this link to a paint repair vendor. Popular Mechanics had good things to say about it and I was happy to see they have all of our colors: http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/a21914/car-scratch-fix/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return ...

Re: TPMS problems

I had the exact same issue at 104K miles. Replaced 2 sensors and no problem since in 6k miles.

Re: Not a NewCaprice but B-Body fans will like this

I'm on the search for a good 4th generation car like this, I love the 96 Caprices and Impala SS. How much am I looking to spend to get into one that I won't regret? I see there are several people on this forum that have experience with them, so I think I'm in good hand advice-wise.

Re: New member from Las Vegas, NV

Welcome to the group! If you can find a good car for $5k to $7k, that would be awesome, but I think if you're looking for one that you won't have to dump a ton more into on parts, you should raise your budget to $7k to $9k. Even at that price, you'll likely get a high mileage car with lots of scratc...

I may be able to get the headliner sunglasses holder/light. What are you willing to pay, including shipping?

Yes, I saw your write-ups on those wheels ... pretty sweet. Have the you written down the weight or weight savings on that?

Re: Carbon fiber?

I too would like to reduce some of the weight from these pigs. I have considered lighter wheels and tires. One problem I haven't solved yet is that doing so may not be compatible with the Stabilitrak. Can anyone more savvy on the subject elaborate whether or not lighter wheels/tires will mess with t...

Re: OEM G8 or PPV mufflers

I have the remnants of my exhaust. It was cut into pieces, but you're welcome to them. The car had 103K miles, so they have some rust, but not too bad. PM me if you're interested.

Re: resonator delete

I may be tone deaf, but I had everything from the cats back replaced with straight pipe followed by FlowMasters. I think it sounds great. I do notice the AFM switch, but it doesn't bother me at all.

Re: DOD Delete | How much $ did it run you?

I've requested estimates from two local Utah shops. So far, only one has replied with an estimate.
