The part in the top pic is what I call the mount. The bottom pic would be the crossmember. FYI if the Caprice mount isnt in stock, you can get the one for a camaro and drill out the holes slightly. What "torque on demand"? Only reference I have found on this is a type of AWD system. The Caprice is a rear wheel drive only.

Unless you're talking about something else?

If you had to bang in the floor to clear the O2 sensor, then the bung is in the wrong position. First one I've heard with this problem.
