Re: Upgrades Take 2

It's almost always database-related.

Been there, done that. We had customers who would run old OSs because their stuff wouldn't work on the new ones. Sadly, our management let them do it with the exact same SLAs!!

Happy to see the forum back online, though!!

Re: Starting out

Good to know. It didn't look like that was a viable route. I need to do mine, but am NOT about to attempt it myself. It's not bad.... yet, but I learned my lesson on my 79 Impala.

Re: In search of a dad mobile

I’m seeing a few lightly modified 2014+ for sale on Facebook. I’m in VA and the prices here seem to be a bit higher than some of the bigger states. Looks like this is a smaller community, so the guys that are known for modding and selling pop up quite frequently on the PPV pages. I’ll keep everyone...

Re: Tire Pressure System Fault

So you set the car in 'learn mode' and starting with front left, let air out until the horn honks? Exactly. Thanks. And I guess it doesn't matter where I start, the car will 'think' I'm starting at front left no matter which tire I'm deflating? Asking, because if the front left does nothing, then I...

Re: Tire Pressure System Fault

That particular tool doesn't give any feedback. It transmits only. If the tool doesn't work, there's always the letting out air method. It's more of a PITA but works. So you set the car in 'learn mode' and starting with front left, let air out until the horn honks? Just wanting to make sure, as I'v...

Re: Tire Pressure System Fault

Back after my little 'time out' (internet access went down and ATT determined it was my modem, so they sent me another, even though 100% of all service interruptions to date have been line cuts. Turned out to be a line cut. ), and the forum's 'time out', I'm back. Went out and stuck the tool ...

Re: Tire Pressure System Fault

We have a 2018 PPV Tahoe I guess I can try. Gonna have to go get the battery out of my toner tool.
