I would recommend that you get it to a reputable transmission shop instead of trying to diagnose through a YouTube video. We do have a great group of technical people here, but they aren't going to be able to fix it. If it is a problem, the sooner the remedy the better.

Re: Big Brakes And CT5 Rims
I would search 2012 Camaro Brembo brake fitment template. assuming that you are using that big brake configuration. It is a PDF file that I cannot upload here. Also follow the instructions in the link below. Make sure to "scale" your cardboard template accurately... https://www.racetechnol...

Re: Big Brakes And CT5 Rims
Maybe make sure that the wheels are from a "Big brake" CTS-V? If I remember right, the CTS-V's had a staggered wheel size...?

Are you referring to the DLR (Daytime Running Lights) function? If you are that is programmed in the BCM.

Did you swap to the AUS OEM LED taillights? The factory LED taillight connector is pinned differently than the PPV taillight. So, with that said, could the AUS headlights be pinned differently, also?

Re: Gun powder like smell. Clutch going bad?
Forgot to respond to the transmission holding the gears. This was programmed into the shift patterns. If the computer thinks that you are in "pursuit" it will hold the gear in case you got off of the throttle to scrub speed. It keeps the trans ready to go for the next stab of the throttle,...

Just taking a stab at this... WOT heat exposing bad catalytic converters? Just guessing....
Sometimes bad engine performance will trip other drivetrain codes. Maybe put a scanner on it?
