Headliner repair?
While heading to the pharmacy to pick up a 'script for my bride, I noticed that the leading edge of the headliner is coming loose. I was busy with that task, so didn't do a thorough analysis when I got home, but am HOPING it's just the leading edge. I'll know better later on, maybe this weekend when...

Re: rear windows don't work
Did you check your SPID label for option 6N5? If you have that option, your rear windows will not work from any switch without a reprogram to disable it.

Re: ABS light without touching the brake
Had the light come on on our '12 a while ago. The scanner said it was the left rear. Pulled the sensor, and a ball of rust rolled out the hole. Thinking that might be the issue, I put it all back together. After a test revealed it was not, or simply pulling that ball of rust out of the hole didn't f...

Re: strobe light bar
Keep your documentation with you to prove you just purchased the vehicle. As long as you're not using the lights, and otherwise driving like a sane person, I'd expect no issues, unless you run across a Barney Fife-type who has to, um, boost his metrics. Most light bars clamp to the roof with two bol...

Re: P0523
Heh, I've done that, too!! You have to LOVE the newer FSMs! One volume to look up the DTC, then another volume to find out how to R&R the part. But wait, there's more!! Another volume to find out how to take the other thing apart to get to the part you need to R&R. That, though, requires you...

Re: Where is everyone?
I check-in here every couple of days or so. FB is the bane of my existance. FB isn't here to provide me with information. It doesn't make finding information easy. It doesn't make searching for parts on Marketplace easy. It ignores keyword searches and radius searches while adding paid ads. To put ...

Re: ABS Help
IIRC, there's a ground on the back of one of the heads that frequently get missed, especially when installing headers. It very well could be a ground, like you're saying. When replacing the wheel bearings, depending on how 'nicely' they treated the wiring, they could have strained the wiring to the ...

Re: Alignment by Dealer Only??
Heh, usually Firestone guys tell you they can't do an alignment until they replace all the balljoints and tie rod ends!! You got off lucky, IMHO!
