Re: V6 vs. V8, differences

I think some of your questions might be answered by looking through the options in these documents. There is priceless iinfo there if you have the patience to dig. http://www.newcaprice.com/files.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; For example, in the 2014 order guide, the G...

Re: Fresh Meat..

"Towcutter" -- good choice for a handle. At least for the Aussie reference. Mad Max is one of my favorite movies. ;) Welcome! The best car to get is a 2011 9C3. Also one of the rarest since only ~800 PPVs were sold here in 2011. I still can't remember how many (if any) 9C3 cars were sold i...

Re: 2011-13 Seatbelt Recall Now Available?

I got the "parts are available" letter for the seatbelt recall too, finally. I'm going to have both done at the same time (key and seatbelt). I only put 7K miles on the car since 2011, so I am not concerned about the seat belt being worn or damaged. Heck I'm not concerned about the ignitio...

Re: Show us your Nose Art (sorta)

I'll jump in too since I missed this thread originally back in March. IMG_20160712_192415.jpg My goal was to get something that said Caprice (on the front). Most people ask me if the car is a Malibu or Impala, so I was hoping this would help them with that mystery. I know the Caprice scripting is in...

Mine hasn't fallen off yet, but I do check on it. My car isn't exposed to any weather except for warm sunny days.

Re: Right Rear Passenger Door Glass Shattered

If the seat has a hole in it, check for evidence of a projectile. Tempered glass often falls gently from a broken window, it's usually not enough to tear a seat. But if something hit that window, it could accelerate glass bits enough to wedge into a seat. Or the projectile itself will be in the seat...

Re: Vent Visors

Anyone have any idea if any company makes a in track or low profile version of vent visors. Tried Google with no success. I wish. I can't find many car applications that are in-channel anymore. All newer cars I've put these on are external. There are a few truck versions that are still made in-chan...
