Re: MMMMMM sidewall

What have you done as far as weight reduction?

Never-mind my post, I just read on the "carbon fiber hood" thread .

Re: Electrical Question

Here is what I ended up doing, soldered a pin on and inserted it into the harness to tap the pink\blue.
The brown wire is to the wig-wag.

Re: Electrical Question

This was the Red/White wire I originally used, under the glove box.

Re: Electrical Question

My car only has 1 battery. Now that I think about it, the ignition had been on for a little while.
After I drive it, I'll check the voltage at the battery to be sure, the hot weather we've had kills battery life.

Re: Electrical Question

Thanks for the reply, Steve.

I had used the white\red stripe wire. I checked it with an actual volt meter and it showed 11.2v, so I changed it to the pink\blue wire which
showed 11.9 on the meter, and the HD radio now works.

Re: Caprice's on tv

Interesting. Was there any mention on show to clue you in on what the Caprice was doing there in the shop?

Re: G8 Carpet

Thanks for the tip, I raised the shipping, and will try to get an estimate at FedEx.
I was afraid it might be low, when I sold my back seat, it was over $130 due to the length.
I also "cocooned" the carpet, lol, with cling wrap, so its not as long but weighs more than
the seat did.

Re: Cloth Rear Seat - Sold

Sold it for $145 plus the shipping.
The shipping was over $130, so be careful, as I had under estimated it, and had to ask the buyer for more money.

Re: So apparently this just happened in Houston.

I saw that that yesterday and wondered if anybody on here had seen it. I'm glad no tax dollars were used, which is surprising in Houston. I think something like this would be good outreach towards kids like the old DARE programs, but as far as general outreach I'm not sure, and it shouldn't even be ...
