Re: Lug nut covers 9C3 27mm???
Well, it's the size that would fit the external threads on the lug nut end (end away from wheel).

Lug nut covers 9C3 27mm???
Can anyone confirm that the screw on lug nut covers for the 9c3 are the 27mm ones?
I just want to make sure before I order some from Hong Kong, lol.
Thanks

Re: Wheel Covers vs. Center Caps
If the car is not white or black and has no spotlight, I dont think it would look like a cop, to most people anyway. I found the wheel covers to be a little plain looking, so I took them off and added beauty rings and center caps off a 90's blazer. I like them ok, but I wish the steelies were ralley...

Re: spare tire
Would there be a notable weight difference with a space saver?
If so, I think I'd prefer it, a donut would be fine to get me to the tire store.

Re: Better OEM-looking wheel nuts for the Caprice?
Are the 9C1 center cap covers held on by a seperate screw and not the lug nut covers? My 9C3 wheel covers are held on by the lug nut covers, which screw onto the externally threaded lug nuts. I'd like to replace the caps\covers with polished or black, but can't find any. Are the lug nut covers 27mm ?

Hey Tom, I've got the car. I'm the one that contacted you on here a couple years ago, right before I bought it.
I've since added G8 seats, subwoofers and amps, Solo axleback, USB and front aux cables, and some misc G8 interior stuff.

Re: Dealer has 2 nice looking 2013 ppv's 78k & 60k $10k 10.5
I agree. I called a dealer one time, a Chevy dealer, asked if it was a 9C1 or 9C3 and he said he'd get back to me. He called back and said "neither, it's a PPV". Also, according to the saleslady at the Honda dealer where I bought my car, the prior owner (Tom Slick), was a Texas State Troop...

Assuming there's no mechanical issues, they seem like a good deal, a lot of power for under $10k.
The listings are a bit misleading though, as neither one are actual detective models.

Re: Center console lid replacement
Thats a good find, every junkyard G8 I've found near me, was missing the lid.
Steve, I'll keep in mind that you have one, but I've got some other things I need to get at the moment.

Re: Center console lid replacement
Did you replace the lid with a new one from a dealership or was it from a salvage yard? Can you buy just the lid by itself?
