Re: Muffler flange

You need to get ahold of an oxy/acetylene torch and heat the head of the bolt until it is red and then quench with water. If it does not turn loose, you may have to reheat. If there is any bolt sticking out on the broken one, you can just heat the threaded end. This method has worked good for me for...

Re: No low speed cooling fans when AC operating - part number needed!

Need to get a good scan tool hooked up to it and see what the coolant temp sensor is showing and see what codes you have. Best to hook it up cold to confirm the sensor is showing close to the ambient temp. What does your temperature gauge show when it burps put the coolant?

Re: Flasher module

On the 11-13’s, there is a small green/red tracer wire that is in the bundle of wires at the passenger kick panel that is used for upfitting. If you put 12 volts to the wire, that should energize the flasher module. Don’t know if it is the same as the 14-17’s, as I don’t have one in my fleet.

Re: Front bumper reinforcements

Make sure you clean up the inserts and anti-seize grease the bolts up, before you have it bolted up. There are a couple folks on FB that are taking flat bar, drilling holes through it and the tacking/welding bolts on it. They use them to eliminate the inserts. the mickey mouse fix for a issue we do...

Might want to hang on to the old hose assembly. They can be repaired some times or they can be a donor to fix another hose. At the rate GM discontinuing parts, there is no telling how long they will be available. Wish I could get my hands on some the old ones that are getting replaced, but with the ...

Take the VIN to a local GM dealer and let them print out a build sheet.

Re: Cleanest way to open up rear door speakers on an 11-13?

I am guessing that you have a 13. I would keep an eye out for some 11-12 rear door panels and install a pair. Can’t help with the center speaker info.
