Re: Brian Tooley Red Hot Cam Help.
Jester, When I went with a BTR Stage 1 cam I worked with Chris Henry Motorsports. He is a member here. He had prior experience with this cam in the G8's. I used HP Tuners to upload the tune and to data log the results. (Having HP Tuners has come in handy for me to scan for codes, tire size changes o...

Re: Brian Tooley Red Hot Cam Help.
I would suggest that it needs to be tuned by someone familiar with the camshaft at least. The stock tune can't handle managing the new airflow in and out of the motor, the new converter is beyond the stock, tight transmission tune.

Re: What breaks will fit stock 18-in rims? Besides the OEM?
Here is what I did... https://www.newcaprice.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1488&hilit=cts+brembo. We had to swap the lead/lag pistons around on these due to their brake bleeder orientation. Just search "Brembo' and there are a lot of threads that have already discussed this... Maurice

If I remember correctly, I just squeezed the horizontal bar in the middle to pull the top and bottom together.

Re: Lugnut issues
It sounds like somebody replaced the factory lugnuts with aftermarket ones. The factory lugnuts were open with a threaded outer to attach the full size hubcap. Maybe try an SAE socket to find the right size?

Re: "Whirring" or "Squeal" when shifting at low speeds
I would recommend that you get it to a reputable transmission shop instead of trying to diagnose through a YouTube video. We do have a great group of technical people here, but they aren't going to be able to fix it. If it is a problem, the sooner the remedy the better.

Re: Big Brakes And CT5 Rims
I would search 2012 Camaro Brembo brake fitment template. assuming that you are using that big brake configuration. It is a PDF file that I cannot upload here. Also follow the instructions in the link below. Make sure to "scale" your cardboard template accurately... https://www.racetechnol...
