yeah they are in a bad location , and easy with the motor or trans out

I have repaired a couple of G8/9C3 shifters by machining a small piece of Delrin rod and making a new section of the white rod that the roll pin slips through. did you do a compression test ? have you inspected the valve springs ? check the valve movent on that cylinder comapred to the others ?

that is the stock plug yes

stock plugs , stock gap , and in my old 11 second cammed G8 i had the gap tightened up a smidge

until you are boosted its not worth anything else
