Re: Finally Tinted
Yea it certainly felt good to see it clean. First time since I've owned it that I've been able to put a bit of time into it. My headlights are shot unfortunately, and what looks to be hazing on the inside. I am finding sets on Ebay Australia cheaper than a single headlight in the US, crazy. The wish...

Heh nah I wish. If she started driving it a few months ago honestly probably would have been interested. She is hooked now though.
Great deal.

Congrats. Funny, my wife discovered her love of my Caprice since she's "had" to drive it to work the past few days and I was trying to sell her on a 9C3 for herself. I like to think that conversation helped this car sell.

Re: New guy here, 2014 in pretty good shape
Welcome. Nice looking car, appears to be in nice shape. Good luck with and enjoy the modifications. Uncorking the exhaust definitely gives the car a different personality, I couldn't believe it when I saw all the mufflers present on the stock system. I laughed when you said you almost ripped off the...

Re: Finally Tinted
Figure no need for a new thread, but I finally got the Speed Clay as suggested, and tried it out. Don't know if I used it in the most effective fashion, but I am very happy with the results so thanks for the suggestion. After the clay and a coat of my Cleaner Wax, I got that glass feel like I had on...

Re: new guy looking for a v8 ppv
Hi, looking to get a V8 ppv my main thing is trying to find one w/o wholes in the body, might be OK with one with wholes in trunk, not really a fan of body work. I am zeroing in on the PPV since I am a big LS fan have a 1977 vette with a 02 LS6 and am selling my 85 mustang with a 408 iron LS in it ...

Re: DOD Delete and LS9 Cam from Texas Speed 2012 PPV
i had a pretty big cam in my old G8 , and when i pulled the intake and header back exhaust off and went back to stock parts to trade it in , it still ran pretty hard , but did feel like i was 60-70whp down , lol Hahahah absolutely... I did the same when I sold my old Formula. Car actually felt just...

Re: DOD Delete and LS9 Cam from Texas Speed 2012 PPV
I'm kind of conflicted on this, too. IF I ever got 'The Tick', I'd go DOD-delete and moar cam. I'm not sure I'd go through the effort with the car running as well as it is, though. It might be better to get ahead of it before you're left on the side of the road on the way to an important meeting, o...

Re: DOD Delete and LS9 Cam from Texas Speed 2012 PPV
Not OP but it's a lower cost relative to other stock cams. I would've gone bigger but had zero other mods, not even an intake. I didn't want to choke the car out. Car made 338rwhp through the stock exhaust and on 89 octane. I have had the car retuned for 93 and a full header back exhaust so I'm sure...

Re: DOD Delete and LS9 Cam from Texas Speed 2012 PPV
"Nice!" I keep quotes because while it's exciting, at the end of the day, sometimes it's nicer to choose the time for mods on your own clock vs the car telling you it's not doing another thing until it gets what it wants  The anticipation of getting the car back is great. I remember w...
