Re: Connector for Special Equipment Options
When I ordered my stuff for my 2014, they said something to the fact of the 14s had different connectors than the newer 2016/2017s. Which connectors are different, im not sure. Your best bet is to call them. You can call GM and try to get part numbers.

Re: Road noise on PPV?
Ive added sound deadener throughout the back of the car. Covered the trunk floor, the metal behind the rear seats, the rear floor, under the rear seat, and the rear doors. A HUGE difference in noise. The biggest issue I have now is the tires. All of the alignment angles are within spec and Ive been ...

Re: Reflash/program/setting change questions
I am interested in this as-well.
VW has an aftermarket scan tool, VAG-COM (yes you read that right), and it allows you to recode modules for different functionalities. Now, if you dont know or just "lollygagging" around in the modules, some serious damage could be done.

Re: Suggestion: Member builds section
Yea, Id say go for it. Some of these cars are unfortunately trashed when 2nd hand owners pick them up, and they modify it as they go along. Not every Caprice is the same. Plus it doesnt clog up the general threads/boards.

Re: 2014 KERR IND multi tap board with wires that have mark
yea I ended up ordering everything for this car from KERR. I was VERY impressed with their quality. I ended up getting both front and rear fuse blocks, the extension harnesses, the front grille harness, speaker, dome light, etc.. I upfitted this car with almost all RPOs except for the factory "...

Rear Speaker Output ('14+)
A while back, I installed a second set of rear speakers in my Caprice. Awesome, I have "surround sound" in the car now. The speakers I initially installed were cheapie Rockford Punch series 6 1/2"s. Their output was purely noise, no bass, all treble. I then upgraded to a tried and tru...
