Re: Radio and wiring part numbers and information
Yeah, my bad... Some of those pictures of the connectors are upside down. (I.E. I took them wrong). The X3 connector pin-out list is correct. The pictures of the IQ main plug are upside down. The first large picture in my post is the correct, the pin numbers from the back of the connector start at P...

Re: Radio and wiring part numbers and information
Sorry, I have been offline for a couple of weeks. I had some engine dramas which have taken close to 3 weeks to finally sort out. (Failed Injector, then crimped Injector O-Ring allowing fuel to flow freely around the engine bay, then finally failed ignition wiring). Anyways, here is some information...

Re: HSV E3 / Maloo binnacle gauges
One of these sold in AU on eBay recently for $1120 AU.
(Which is a little less than what I paid for mine).
There is the option of the twin guage model, which replaces the speaker middle grill, and gives two 52mm holes for gauges ?
(These go for around $100AU on fleabay).

Re: Adding fog lights to the Caprice
I thought I would post this information up, just in case it helps people. On the Australian model Omega (Models without fog lights), the BCM supports the foglight input from a lightswitch with the fog light function. I must admit I know very little about how this all works (at the moment), as I have...

Re: Remote Start for PPV's without it
I couldn't agree with you more !!!! The new VF Commodore will have remote start, so now apparently the excuse that the function was illegal in Australia has changed, or is no longer valid. Most of the people that I know with a VE commodore would love to have this function, but we are currently stuck...

Re: Holden Radio for PPV
Yeah, we are finding the RGBs input to be a bit of a pain to work out.. There is a programming option to enable the Input (HSV EDI), but there are a couple of other steps that are making this input very difficult to play around with. (Just in case people are wandering what I mean by EDI, This input ...

Re: Caprice sales figures
The strength of the Australian dollar has historically hurt Holden's export plans. Because Australia's major export earner is our mining industry (which supplies china), Australia has been one of the last countries to feel the global financial crisis.... Fortunately or unfortunately (depending on ho...

Re: Holden Radio for PPV
Hi Tom, Yeah the Camera overlay lines was my bad. I have been trying a bit of brute force programming (Setting almost random numbers in various memory locations) using 11BitSW Can programming. (I'm too poor for Tech2 or TIS2WEB) :( I wrote a value to the IQ unit accidentally, without reading its pre...

Re: Holden Radio for PPV
Sorry that I have been inactive for quite a while.... Im starting to get back online, and playing around with my car again.... I thought I would comment on the camera above. I have one of these fitted to my Holden, and I can say that the thing works, and that the quality is quite good. http://www.ca...
