Re: Verifying 9C3
And if you suspect a car you're looking at has been converted to a G8 centre console, the dead giveaway is that the window controls will still be in the door. Very few people (or nobody) will go through the trouble of moving the wiring from the door to the console and opt to use a 3D printed filler...

Re: 9C1 Console Installation 2011-'13
Great write up. I did mine back in 2013, so some parts I did have to source from Australia. I did rewire my switches to the center console and that was a huge PITA. I don't have tap shift enable and mine is in sport mode all the time. I also have G8 door panels to eliminate the holes left in the doo...

Re: 9C1 Console Installation 2011-'13
I also just picked up a G8 console also for my 2013 PC1... so I'm following... it really is looking like more work than expected... ugh. I was fortunate to get the shifter, parking brake, window switches, etc... all with mine. So I wont have too many holes or missing parts. Can I use the G8 brake c...

Revamping my PPV
I've owned the Caprice for 5 years now. It got side swiped parked on the street. Bastards didn't even leave a note. I did get it repaired and I'll get it back tomorrow. For about 4 years, it's been a Middle East Caprice SS clone. But now that the warranty is up, I'm going to change things up. I will...

Re: carpet part , floor mats , trunk liner #'s inside
I knew the shipping was too good to be true. When I proceeded to check out, it increased to $160. But, it's still lower than what I expected to pay when it wasn't retail price. yeah non-retail price is pretty cheap , the box is freakin huge as the carpet is not folded or rolled , 48.00 for shipping ...

I put the part number in for the carpet for an 11 in gmpartsdirect and it's showing up for $505 plus $48 shipping to California. You can get 10% with a military discount too. It's time to put in my order soon

Re: carpet part , floor mats , trunk liner #'s inside
I finally going to get the carpet, the the side panels on my 9c3 console on my 9c1 just keep sliding off. Besides, I need to complete the 9c3 clone look, but with G8 seats. I'm considering even getting Katzkins for the G8 seats to make it look more luxurious.

Re: WM Statesman Compatability
basically anything is interchangeable. i have an aussie caprice steering wheel, under radio pocket, and rear trunk trim (this sacrifices your trunk keyhole) at least one user on here (*actually the user i'm thinking of is novadeuce, oops) has the middle eastern caprice ss grille, and someone has ev...

Re: LS3 in Holden Caprice, I've been away too long
Nah, I've been stateside since 2013. Next year is a different story. I think I've done all the modding that I could with the PPV, so I focused my time and money on my other projects. I don't really want to mod the engine for fear that it won't pass smog. I've been working on my box B-Bodies. 2 have ...
