Re: Cold Air Intake

I have a CAI for a v6 that I order from Australia that routes the intake down to the front bumper/wheel well area which is where it should be pulling air from. It's still in the box and I went supercharged so I'm not going to install it. Email me at sjeannides@yahoo.com if you're interested.

Re: Engine oil level reading issues

I did the same thing with overfilling. Some online service manuals say 6.7 quarts, some say 6. I obviously should of been waiting and checking the dipstick to see what was full. I used a oil extraction pump that I got off of Amazon to pump out the extra oil through the dipstick tube. The bullet styl...

Re: Supercharged LFX Caprice-am I the first one?

Damn, you caught me! "Hide all the Styrofoam guys." haha. I just got the car back on Saturday and haven't dyno'ed it yet. It's a procharger so once you start winding it out, and the RPMS get up there, hold on...Seat pinning in progress! WHOA! Dyno results or it's made out of styrofoam! Loo...

Re: Supercharged LFX Caprice-am I the first one?

It's got the OEM exhaust on it. I didn't have to mess with anything exhaust wise. It's a supercharger, if it were a turbo I would have to mess with exhaust. I like the concept! What did you do for the exhaust? I know that the exhaust manifolds and catalytic converters are combined. Did you figure so...

Supercharged LFX Caprice-am I the first one?

This has been an idea floating around my head since 2019. I see alot of V6 Camaros with supercharger kits so I got to planning how I could adapt a Overkill stage 1 supercharger kit for the LFX Camaro to work on a LFX Caprice. I have not found one person that has done it and I enjoy thinking outside ...

Re: Drivers side spotlight

I've got one new-in-box and install kit which has the mounting bracket and rubber sleeve that goes over the outer tube (on the inside of the car) and sits flush up against the a pillar trim (covers hole in a-pillar garnish molding) Not sure if you still have the mounting bracket on the left a-pillar..

Re: How to remove Caprice door to body harness connector?

Just an FYI for anybody looking this up currently.. the rectangle slot in the middle of the pink locking lever (tab) works as a place to insert the blade of a flat head screwdriver. Then gently pivot the handle to lightly push the locking clip towards the middleof the connector (IIRC) while pulling ...

Re: Low mileage Underbody/Exterior rattle at idle, not suspension

Just to help any other people that come across this post having a similar rattle. It was one of the resonators right behind the converters that is attached to the exhaust mid section or crossover section as GM calls it. Weirdly enough I could replicate the noise with my hand balled up in a fist and ...
