Re: AM General/VPG MV-1 differential

Guy says he has about 20 units brand new never installed. Looks like he bought pallets at an auction. Pics are from a used unit on eBay.

AM General/VPG MV-1 differential

Anyone ever seen one of these? Pretty obscure use of the 5th gen Camaro differential. The only difference I can see is the rear cover, the pinion yolk and the pinion doesn’t have the stub sticking out through the yolk. They all seem to use the 3.45 lsd. How important is that stub? Guy has one locall...

Like new Solo axle back southern Wisconsin

Looking to upgrade to full exhaust and sadly will not be able to use my Solo axle back. Installed spring of ‘18 and has less than 1k miles. Exhaust is currently installed on car. Looking to line up a LOCAL buyer to help fund my new full exhaust purchase. $350 FIRM will need new gaskets.

Re: drivers seat belt tensioner.

thats not the tensioner, the tensioner is on the other side where the seatbelt meets the seat. thats just the buckle, which has a plug into the car if you needs one I can dig around my parts stash and see if I've still got the one from my junkyard G8 seats. I seem to recall the plug being the same ...

So I crawled around with a flashlight tonight and I cannot see a tensioner mechanism. The buckles don't look like any in the parts diagrams. What do I have here?

drivers seat belt tensioner.

Need to replace the drivers seat belt tensioner. Somebody welded in an extension to bring it up a few inches and its bugging me. Not only is it too tall, I question its safety. So I've been looking at the gm parts websites. What I can't figure out is the connector they are referring to (oval vs squa...

Re: Flange gasket part number.

Honestly I had never heard of nickson until that day. I found the gasket on this nickson site http://www.nickson.com/newcatalogs/__Retail_Contents_SM-1.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; under top 100 gaskets it shows the cross reference numbers. Maybe this helps? The walke...
