Re: Whiteline Essential Vehicle Kit

There was info on the page:
Front and Rear Essential Vehicle Kit works with the following vehicles.

2008-pontiac-g8-base
2014-chevrolet-ss-base
With that, I would assume it would fit the Caprice.

Re: value in the years to come

I would probably be the biggest exception to the rule seeing it's probably the only one in the whole country. I might be able to get a good amount of coin for it however I didn't buy it to be a trailer queen or show car. I didn't keep it original and I drive it almost daily like I stole it. To me, a...

From what I've heard, they've been discontinued for a while so the used route is the only way to get them. You have to be careful prying them off, first thing I read on here when I pulled my radio.

Re: New Owner 2011, Tri-Cities, WA, Pics

Welcome! Certainly a good base to work with. I've seen those silent partners before but only on the Taurus Interceptors as they are so freaking small, the seat wouldn't go back far enough for the taller guys. Glad those toy cars are out of production although the Exploders aren't really any better. ...

Re: How Australia's Auto Industry Fell Apart

One thing mentioned was the vehicle's costs and the high AU$. I know for a fact that one reason the RCMP in Canada did not buy into the Caprice was the exorbitant high purchase cost. Once you added in the shipping, duties and the exchange rate, they were not viable here. G8's were the same and why t...

Re: Middle East cluster programming?

Sorry, been busy. Haven't looked into this much. The odometer programming usually only works on brand new clusters. Well, that's my experience on trucks. I wouldn't mind losing trap speed and the certified message, just as long as the cluster doesn't display in Arabic  I'll update once I get so...

Re: Middle East cluster programming?

I just looked at TIS/TDS again and I missed there is also an option for configuration and setup. I'm going to have to renew my subscription to TDS and see if I can change the configuration on my cluster. I've been poking around here for programming info. Older vehicles would show all the software ve...
