Re: Roof leak into map light cluster
Unless you had holes drilled & sealed in your roof from lightbars, antennas, et al (or a very small hole that isn't filled for that matter!) the only stock roof penetration is around the factory antenna. There's a rubber seal around the base of the antenna mount you should check as well to see ...

Roof leak into map light cluster
Seems like my roof is leaking into the map light cluster and dripping down onto the trans tunnel plate in the heavy rains. Can't seem to figure out where the hole is though, and there's not much wetness on the roof liner. Its not a lot of water, but it's unsettling. Any tips appreciated. Tha...

Re: Power steering quit working (again)
Not surprised at that... I'd assume it takes quite a bit of power to turn this monster. It certainly feels so when EPS isn't functioning correctly.smwalker wrote:Wiring diagram. 125 Amp fuse at the alternator! This system is power hungry!!

Any malfunction detected that disables steering assist will cause the SERVICE POWER STEERING message to be displayed on the driver information center. Yeah... I've never had a single ...

Re: Power steering quit working (again)
Yeah, I've been trying to figure out what the part name/part number is so I could research it some more.
Truly wish I had a set of repair manuals for the 2014.

Re: Power steering quit working (again)
Yeah, so GM dealer service center says "if it's the gear and motor it would be [roughly $1700] to replace". ( What motor??? ) Not covered by recall or warranty. Quality. Also, GM Customer Relations number is automated and hangs up on you if you ask to speak to a human about your issue. :x ...

Re: Power steering quit working (again)
Yeah, I was just informed that the power steering pump isn't covered under the recall. If everything else was replaced, wouldn't it be likely that the pump just failed? What else could it be? EDIT: Wait, what??? Haha, I'm dumb - but then again so is the service agent who told me the power steering p...
