Re: Should there be lights under the gear selector in a 2011?
That looks like a 193 bulb. They're pretty common and inexpensive if you wanted to give it a try without having to wait for shipping.

Re: New Owner 2011 Caprice 6.0 in Oregon
Here's a couple of pics with wheels from a 2015 Camaro. Picked them up on Craigslist. I had originally planned on powder coating or plastidipping them for a gunmetal finish but these wheels are in really nice shape so I decided to leave them alone and see how I like them. Running the Eagle 235-50-18...

Re: 3.45 Differential install
Thanks for the tips. I found these at Holden Parts USA: Appear to be similar to OEM: https://holdenpartsusa.com/collections/ppv-suspension/products/whiteline-08-09-g8-11-17-ppv-14-17-ss-differental-mount-inserts-standard And these ones appear to be harder: https://holdenpartsusa.com/collections/ppv-...

Re: 3.45 Differential install
I've picked up a 3.45 diff out of a 2011 Camaro. I'm having trouble finding a source for the bushings to mount it. I'd like to stick with OEM if possible. I've found sources for aftermarket urethane bushings but in my experience they can be noisy and I'd like to avoid them if possible. I've come up ...

Re: New Owner 2011 Caprice 6.0 in Oregon
I've driven it a couple hundred miles since the lifter repair with no issues. The only thing I noticed was that after a few start cycles, the check engine light did come back on but once I disabled DOD in the tune, that is resolved. It even passed Oregon's emission test!

Re: New Owner 2011 Caprice 6.0 in Oregon
The fix I posted worked on my collapsed lifter. She's running on all 8 again! That took care of the check engine light and stabilitrack errors. The DOD is physically disabled so I just need to disable it in the tune. Next on the list is the parasitic battery drain and the bad TPMS sensor. I think th...

I agree! And although I don't love the steelies, I think when I do replace the wheels I'm sticking with something black because I like that combo.
