Re: Tire Pressure System Fault

I bought this one...which is most likely identical to the one you posted a link to, works great.

Re: Tire Pressure System Fault

Did your Camaro throw a 'Tire Pressure Systems Fault' notice on the DIC? Sadly, we got tires about 2 years ago, and they probably have 1000 miles on them. So to do this, it will be 'off cycle'. I, too, am a fan of GM parts, so may go that route. It seems the Caprice use the 'Schrader' brand TPM sen...

Re: Tire Pressure System Fault

I had one TPMS battery die in my camaro wheels. I ordered a set of new gm genuine sensors from rock auto and had discount throw them in when they put tires on.

I have had bad luck in the past with whatever brand discount tire sells.

Re: 305 rear tires or bigger?

we put 305's and 325's on the back of my fathers 2012. Required raising the rear ride height considerably, plus aggressive fender rolling.

Re: Lugnut issues

had the same issue with my factory camaro lug nuts. I ended up buying a cheap 23mm and a cheap 22mm. I'd hammer the 23mm on to get most of them off. The few that the cladding really messed up I hammered the 22mm on. I replaced them with some 14mm gorilla spline style lugs I had.

Re: General daily driver reliability

Bought mine with 82k on the clock, sitting now at 115k. I routinely take it on 1000 mile trips for work, I never hesitate. There have been a number of glitches and parts worn out, but far less than other cars in the family. Pretty much every issue I have run into I have put in my build post. https:/...

Re: Improved Racing VCM KVE-900 Air Intake

I have a few of the VCM intakes on the cars, my favorite intake, they are very good. I looked for used before I bought the most recent one, but there is always something missing or broken on the used units. The price at summit is excellent, I think I paid 700$+ two years ago, they were not available...

Re: 285/30/20 + 255/35/20 on Eibach SS

I've never specifically put a 285 on, but have done 275,295,305,315,325. 275 Can fit nice with camaro wheels and rolled fenders, rub slightly at full compression at stock height. Anything larger pretty much requires strange offsets and coilovers. To get the 295+ sizes to fit, the car has to be raise...

take the cowl off, very easy to remove and gives you a ton more room.

Re: 2014 9C1 Daily Driver

The car let me know it was in need of some time an money. Front end clunk was getting worse, and the familiar dent on the underside of the hood, let me know it was time to address the front suspension. Cost of new factory parts for the front was close enough to the cost of a pedders coil over set......
