Wear/damage at 125k

So I've put about 5k miles on my 2011 since purchased in January. It's always run strong, only ever ran e85 on an e85 tune. Purchased with Kooks headers, 3200 stall, 3.45 rear end, engine work unknown. Oil consumption about 1 quart every 1100. I could see that it had the DOD delete plate, so I assum...

Re: 285/35/18

No issues with it being such a short tire? No - I had 265/35/18 before, and they're actually a little smaller in diameter, roughly 3/8 inch. I used a speedometer app on the phone to compare with the speedometer in the car, with 265s car read about 4 mph faster, with 285s car about 3 mph faster. (at...

Re: 285/35/18

Welcome! Nice that you can put that much tire under there cars. I think we have 265’s, and I thought that was a lot of tire. Yeah I'm pretty happy with it. I had the 265s as well, and I was looking at it with the car in the air, and there was plenty of room. They fit with or without the 5mm spacers...

285/35/18

I just mounted these up and thought you guys would like some pics of the fitment. This car has the H&R springs. Used 5mm spacers just for fun.

Hey there Yuckydog - I'm in Dawsonville. Ever make your way over to Atlanta Dragway in Commerce? Can't wait to try this thing out.

Yeah I know - it was a 400 mile tow. Colorado is a 5.3 and did pretty good. Tongue weight was a little tricky, car forwards was a little low, tried it car backwards, wayyy too high. Changed it back to car forwards.

Hi from North Georgia

Well, I've gone and done it. Bought a 2011 PPV thats been sitting under a tree for over a year. It has some pretty good mods - Kooks headers, 3200 stall torque converter, Camaro 3.91 rear end. On the other side, the suspension is really wobbly (bad). Ordered inner/outer tie rod ends, lower control a...
